Mores than 80% of the Earth's natural forests have already been destroyed. Almost all of West Africas rain forest has been wiped out and Brazil and Indonesia, which have the largest rainbforests are being depleated every day. Hte effects are less lining space for animals and loss of habitats. Also the destruction of rain forests cause droughts in the areas where they used to be. Many rain forests are destroyed for cattle grazing and for agriculture. Another effect is that there is more carbon dioxide in the air becuase the trees aren't absorbing it which is contributing to global warming.

  1. It is extremely shocking that 80% of the worlds natural forests have already been destroyed. Something defiantly needs to be done or we will be without any of our natural forests. It is not that surprising that U.S. and Brazil are the main countries that particpate in deforestation.

  2. Yes it is very shcoking that all of these forests have been destroyed. They should find alternative materials to use to make the products that they cut the trees down for. If they don't there could be even less natural forests left in the world.

  3. This is true. If they find other ways to produce certain products, then there will be an extremely significant amount of our natural forests left.

  4. And we need to keep our natural forests because many animals live in them and it would be destroying their habitats.

  5. Exactly, all natural will seem to exist if all of our natural forests are gone. We would be without any wildlife. And that is an extremely hard thing to think about, not having any wildlife.

  6. Yes. Without wildlife things would be hard. For people in ocuntries that hunt wildlife to eat it would be hard because they would have no food to eat.
